Its Finally Finished!

Well, after a mind numbing week of toil, my most complicated (but in my opinion, not my absolute best) scratch game has been completed! Last week in Ancient History class, we were assigned to make games about Rapa Nui (better known as Easter Island). Being the smart-ass that I am, I decided to suggest that my group do it in scratch. What I didn’t really think through at the time was that this would mean I would be doing practically all of the work, since my partners don’t have a clue how to do scratch. What I also didn’t realize is that it was probably the most complicated things I’ve ever made. Even with an extension, it took me until 4:30 in the morning today to finish the damn thing. That means I got an hour and a half of sleep last night. If my mom wasn’t a computer science professor, there no way I would have pulled this off. Oh, and its still glitches. Hopefully none of those parts will come up when I present it third period.

Well, I learned my lesson. Never do scratch things for school again. EVER. I’m serious, this thing had me all tense and worried for a full week. Its Not Worth It. Okay, I’ve made my point. I’m going to go take a nap.

PS. Christmas break starts for me on Wednesday, so the next Super Smash should be here soon (there, you happy James?).

Damn Republicans (cont.)

Quick update. It turns out that the friend from the last post is not a Republican. Apparently, he is a member of the wig party. We will ignore the fact the the wig party is long since dead, and that the friend in question does not no what any of their policy’s where. We will also ignore the fact that judging from arguments I’ve had with him, he agrees with many Republican policy’s.

Another shout-out to a Republican I know: James Booth, stop reading my blog so much. It was flattering at first, but now its creepy.

Damn Republicans

Okay, now I’m in a really bad mood. One 0f my best friends is a Republican. He comes from a long line of right wingers, and because of this, we have different opinions on most things. Needless to say, we try to keep politics out of our conversations. But on the bus today, he crossed the line. In a very casual way, he made a comment about how all Islamic people want to destroy America. This put me over the edge. We spent most of the bus ride arguing about politics, the war in Iraq, religion, all the things we normally new better then to talk about. Get this: he actually believes that the Iraqis greeted us as liberators! It like hes actually buying all the crap the Bush administration has been feeding us! It makes me really mad.

Screw it.

Things are really beginning to piss me off. My physics teacher is a satanic masochist who hates kids with ADD, my mom keeps jumping down my throat every time I do something wrong, and I haven’t done a single thing in the school musical. Also with the play: one of my friends managed to get a part that has a solo, and now shes acting like shes doing everyone a god damn favour by showing up! Christ, just be happy your there at all and not in the fucking chorus! I’m beginning to think its not worth it anymore. Why should I have to try so damn hard if this is the end result?
